Mitsubishi Electric Automation Wins Prestigious Awards from Industry Publications and Their Readers

Mitsubishi Electric Automation, Inc. was honored for manufacturing excellence, innovation and user trust by leading design, engineering and automation trade publications and their user communities. Mitsubishi Electric Automation, which offers a wide range of factory automation products, solutions, training and support services for the industrial and commercial sectors, received the following awards:



  • Leadership in Engineering Award from Design World magazine in the Mechatronics category. The award recognizes top manufacturers as selected by the Design World User Community in the Leadership Awards Program. The 2016 award winners were announced in the publication’s February 2017 issue.
  • Leadership in Automation “First Team” Awards from Automation World magazine in two categories – PLCs/PACs and Robotics. The publication’s readers chose the winners in an open-ended survey. Automation professionals were invited to vote for their favorite automation vendors. Readers voted for leaders in more than two dozen categories, representing the wide variety of automation technologies, software and products in use by today’s manufacturing professionals across the discrete, batch and continuous process manufacturing industries. The 2016 award winners were announced in Automation World’s January 2017 issue.
  • 2017 Engineers’ Choice Awards honorable mention from Control Engineering magazine for GOT Mobile, a web-based solution allowing users to monitor their worksites remotely. Control Engineering awarded products introduced in 2016 from 28 categories of control, instrumentation, and automation, as chosen by print and online subscribers. The subscribers identified the products they felt were the most exceptional based on technological advancement, service to the industry, and market impact.  The awards were announced in the February 2017 issue of Control Engineering.
