Mitsubishi Electric Automation, Inc. (MEAU) Response to Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Vernon Hills, Illinois - March 22, 2020

In compliance with the Illinois statewide shelter-in-place order to limit the spread of COVID-19, our Vernon Hills office will be open with limited staffing, and we are not receiving visitors.

We remain committed to serving our customers and we have taken additional measures to support business continuity. However, please understand that timely delivery of products and services may be impacted during the COVID-19 workforce restriction period in Illinois. Also, during this time, “Will Call Pickup” service is temporarily suspended.

We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you informed of any changes. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

This is a very troubling time for everyone across the globe. We feel deeply for the individuals and families affected by the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). By working together for the greater good, I am confident we will get through this.

At Mitsubishi Electric Automation, Inc. (MEAU), keeping our employees, business partners, communities and customers healthy and safe is our highest priority as we navigate the global uncertainty caused by COVID-19 together.

MEAU is taking proactive measures to limit exposure in our workplaces and communities by adhering to established guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We are following direction from various government authorities, restricting international and domestic travel, as well as halting on-site visits to our facilities. To maintain business continuity, we are leveraging technology within our workforce to ensure maximum safety and well-being of our employees.

We are committed to serving our customers. At this time, we expect to continue providing products and services in a timely manner. Our global supply chain has had minimal impact because of COVID-19, and we have put in place contingency plans to ensure normal business operations.

MEAU will continue to monitor this rapidly evolving situation and will keep you well informed of any changes.

Please be safe and take every precaution necessary to protect yourself, your families, your colleagues, your friends, your workplaces and your communities.
