The C Language Controller allows C and C++ developers to easily design industrial controller systems. In place of the ladder logic used in conventional PLC devices, this controller uses the international standard C languages (C and C++) for greater programming flexibility. The OS used on the MELSEC Q Series of C language controllers is the VxWorks real-time OS from Wind River. Since they come with communications drivers and special-purpose libraries preinstalled, the controllers can be used immediately. CW Workbench is a programming software environment allowing program editing, debugging, program testing, and analysis.
