Mitsubishi Electric ranked first among Japanese firms and fifth globally in terms of international patent applications filed in 2021, according to an announcement by the Switzerland-based World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). This is the seventh consecutive year that we have ranked first among Japanese companies.
