Through COVID times: Sharing our colleagues’ achievements through a fully remote global project

12th September, 2022

On Mitsubishi Electric’s official Facebook page, we have been creating globally minded content with the intention of inspiring movements worldwide. In March, we spotlighted the various achievements of women in STEM. Created during the covid-19 pandemic, all interviews and video content were shot and edited remotely. There were challenges that came with creating remotely, but cooperating with colleagues across the globe led to successful execution of the project.

We’d like to share a photo and introduce the Japanese team that worked behind the scenes on this project.

Ms. Saito: Through this project, I not only enjoyed working with my Mitsubishi Electric colleagues from all over the world, but felt inspired by learning about each person’s passion for their work. I am grateful for everyone on this team, but especially our younger members Ms. Kawano and Mr. Ito who took the lead. This project wouldn’t have been possible without their dedication and hard work.

Mr. Ito: This project would not have been possible without the cooperation of our global team members. I want to start by giving thanks to our colleagues and their teammates who let us interview them. Having colleagues all over the world is a gift. I hope we can continue to collaborate with teammates from around the globe on more projects.

Ms. Kawano: I am thankful for the support that my colleagues from all the different Mitsubishi Electric branches gave us in realizing this project. This project illuminated our colleagues’ dedication to creating Changes for the Better. How their faces lit up when talking about their projects, and the warmth with which they spoke of their teammates will stay with me. I am so glad that I was able to experience something like this. This project itself was a challenge for the social media team, so I am also happy that we were able to bring it to fruition.

We at Mitsubishi Electric, have colleagues in many different regions and cities. By learning about each other’s cultures, we hope to build even stronger bonds amongst ourselves.
