Mitsubishi Electric Automation was in attendance at the Las Vegas Convention Center for PACK EXPO 2023! From September 11th- 13th, consumer packaged goods and life sciences companies explored the latest innovations and solutions for their packaging and processing challenges. Various industries, including but not limited to, Food & Beverage, E-Commerce, and Household & Automotive, were represented with Mitsubishi Electric Automation offering solutions to challenges faced in these industries.
On Day 2, September 12th at 4 PM, Mitsubishi Electric product marketing manager, mechatronics, Patrick Varley, presented on "The Next Evolution of 3D Bin Picking: Multiple Collision-Free Robots" alongside Matt Somerville from Realtime Robotics and Nick Longworth from SICK. Attendees learned how the combination of 3D vision for robotic guidance, dynamic path planning, and collision avoidance can work together to increase throughput and reduce the footprint needed to deploy Mitsubishi Electric robots.
