MELSERVO-J5 EtherCAT compatible amplifiers support Fail Safe over EtherCAT (FSoE) for increased safety, performance, and reliability.

Functional safety is integral to modern industrial network architectures and communication systems. EtherCAT offers users safety-related traffic transmission in parallel with standard data on the same network. Fail Safe over EtherCAT (FSoE) is a TÜV-certified technology developed according to IEC 61508 and standardized internationally in IEC 61784-3.
