Built-in Ethernet Communication
The embedded Ethernet port offers out-of-the-box Ethernet communication with CPU search functionality. It enables communication to other Ethernet-enabled products. Peer-to-peer communication with other Mitsubishi Electric controllers is especially easy because it can be configured without any ladder programming. In addition, the L Series supports FTP server functionality and SNTP network clock synchronization.
Built-in High Speed Data Logging
The L Series has an embedded data logger that offers scan-independent sampling as fast as 1 ms. Users can setup event and trigger-based logging to customize data collection for the application at hand. The data logger can be engaged on an as-needed basis for troubleshooting and reliability tracing purposes without incurring additional cost.
Simple Motion Control
An optional motion control module can be mounted next to the L Series controller to add synchronized motion control over a fiber optic network.
