Side-by-side installation

Enables side-by-side installation of multiple inverters in close contact for flexible layout design.

  • ND rating: Permitted up to 40℃ ambient temperature.
  • SLD rating: Permitted up to 30℃ ambient temperature.

Further reducing the external size

The width of certain models has been decreased. Interchangeable mounting options are available to make migrating from FR-D700 to FR-D800 easy.

Dual Rating (ND rating, SLD rating) NEW

The FR-D800 now includes booth Normal Duty (ND) and Super Light Duty (SLD) overload ratings. Avoid oversizing of the VFD by selecting SLD for variable torque loads like pumps and fans. Use the default ND overload rating for constant torque loads or applications requiring peak performance.

Eliminate external braking transistors

The FR-D800 supports an enhanced power regeneration capability, offering up to 100% maximum brake duty. This allows for high-performance regenerative braking without requiring a separate brake unit.

The FR-D800 VFD accommodates a wide range of ambient temperatures and diverse operating environments. For North America, the standard models (-60) include conformally coated circuit boards (IEC 60721-3-3:1994, 3C2/3S2) to mitigate effects from corrosive environments.
